Hazen High School students recognized as 2019 Outstanding Seniors
March 28, 2019 — Twelve extraordinary Hazen High School students were recognized as Outstanding Seniors by Renton School Board members at tonight's meeting.
The students are an exceptionally talented group of young people who have succeed in the classroom, served their community, received individual honors, and represented Hazen High with poise and integrity.
Students were selected based on academic achievement, leadership, co-curricular involvement, citizenship and character, community service, and contributions to their classmates and school. The Hazen High students spoke during the presentation about what made them successful in school and motivated them in their personal life. They recognized their parents in attendance, acknowledged friendships with other students, and honored teachers as “most inspirational.”
The School Board will recognize Outstanding Seniors from other high schools at board meetings through May.
