  • Finals are happening this week!

    We will have a delayed start on Wednesday and Thursday. First bell is at 9:25 AM. Friday will be our standard late start time with the first bell at 8:45 AM. Please see below for a full schedule. Buses should arrive on a 2-hour late start schedule, but times may be different. Arrive early to not have any disruptions!

    HealthPoint Clinic at RHS now offering Sports Physicals

    Reminder: For students needing to get a physical for winter sports, you can now schedule your physical through the Healthpoint Clinic on site here at Renton High School. Simply go to the Athletics page on our Renton High School Website and have your parent fill out the pediatric patient intake form, prior to scheduling your physical.

    1. Seniors, did you know that you can apply to attend The Evergreen State College for free until February 1! Did you know that there are 34 colleges and technical colleges that accept 100% of students wanting to attend? Many of these schools even have free applications, like Highline or Green River College! Questions? Ask Ms. Fulmer in the Career Center. (NF, 1/31)


    1. Do you identify as an undocumented senior? Check-out the Career Center scholarship page, or Career Center, for a scholarship specifically for undocumented students. Deadline is January 31. (NF, 1/31)


    1. Interested in technology? Want to become an engineer or work on ground-breaking science? Seniors, apply for the Washington State Opportunity Scholarship today! Opportunity Scholars receive career-launching support services and scholarships of up to $22,500 to pursue high-demand bachelor degrees in science, technology, engineering, math (STEM) or health care. To be eligible, you must be low- or middle-income and interested in attending a Washington state college or university. Application deadline is February 28th, 2018. Over 20 RHS students received this scholarship last year, out of a possible 800. Visit Ms. Fulmer in Career Center for more info. (NF, 2/28)
