    1. Hey RHS, this week is Spirit week! Today is Wavy Wednesday. Tomorrow is Floral-Print Day. Hawaiian flowers and floral prints? Yes, those types of clothes! Let’s get a tropical jungle in our halls! (JD, 4/27)

    1. This is your Student of the Month update. April recognizes students that are risk-takers. They approach unfamiliar situations and uncertainty with courage and forethought, and have the independence of spirit to explore new roles, ideas and strategies. They are brave and articulate in defending their beliefs. Congratulations: Laura Aguilar-Flores, Leandro Cervantes, Isaac Elliot, Amara Estrella, Laurie Garcia, Jennifer Gutierrez, Ixchel Kunkel, Keyla Lopez, Isaiah Mathwich, and Ahjonai Somerszaul-Ashford.     1. This is a reminder that there are spring pep assembly rehearsals taking place in the main gym after school from 2:15-3pm. If you are a part of the assembly, please be there. (JD, 4/26)

     

    1. Attention all 10th graders: If you are registering for Running Start, you can go see you counselor in the library during lunch on Wednesday, April 25th or Thursday, April 26th. This will be your opportunity to get your Enrollment Verification Form signed for Fall Running Start. (CW, 4/26)

     

    1. Applications for the Ambassador Club are now available in Ms. DiAsio’s room 164. Stop by to pick one up! They need to be completed and returned by April 27, 2018 for consideration. (JD, 4/27)

     

    1. Auditions for senior graduation speeches will be held after school, May 16th, 2:15, in Mr. Heft’s room, 311.  All seniors are invited to prepare a 3 minute graduation speech for consideration.  We are looking for well thought out ideas of what graduation means for you as a representative of the graduating class of 2018. Traditional themes of graduation speeches, with your unique perspective, is what we are looking for. (JH, 4/27)

     

    1. Please come and join us in supporting the RHS Drama and Music Depts’ production of “Little Shop of Horrors.”  The shows will be on Thursday 4/26 and Friday 4/27 at 6PM in the IKEA PAC. Tickets are only $5 w/ASB card or $7 w/o. (JL, 4/27)

     

    1. Are you interested in playing or learning to play Chess? Would you like to be part of a Chess Club that meets every week to play? Would you like to attend local chess competitions? Come by Mr. Parrelli’s Room 321 and sign up before Friday, May 4th if you would like to take part in forming a new Chess Club at RHS! (JP, 4/27)

     

    1. Hello Class of 2018. Your graduation is drawing near. How special will it be with fellow friends performing and celebrating with you by sharing their musical talents? Auditions for Graduation Musical performances will take place on Monday, April 30 from 2:15p to 3:15p in room 126. Sign-ups for auditions are posted outside Room 126 or see Ms. Rose for more information. Let's make this a Graduation to remember. Come to the Musical Performance Audition on Monday, April 30. (DR, 4/30)

     

    1. Seniors! The deadlines for the Jack Sparrow Athletic scholarship and Kiwanis scholarship have been extended until next week due to Skyward being down. Applications of Jack Sparrow Athletic scholarship available in Career Center and will be due May 4. Application for Kiwanis scholarship available through Career Center scholarship website.     1. Seniors: Prom Guest Pass Applications are now available. The form is yellow and available outside the ASB window. Prom guest pass applications are due on May 11th. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. Prom tickets go on sale starting May 14th. (CE, 5/7)

     

    1. Do you need a dress for Tolo and Senior Prom? If you receive free and reduced lunch, you can get a free formal dress. Come see Ms. Yeager in room 233 for more info! (AY, 5/25)
