Are you behind on credits, or want to get World Language credit for a language you already know? You can earn up to 4 credits by taking the World Language Test here at Hazen on October 30th, during school. See Mrs. Harris in Counseling to sign up for the test before the October 19 deadline.
The class is free to all, childcare is provided and the first class is tonight in D109 between 6 - 8:30 PM. Parents will learn about the US school system and how to communicate with teachers. Please come by Mrs. Perkins room in D109 for more information.
Are you 16 & older and need community service? Hazen’s first blood drive of the year is only 2 weeks away! Sign-ups are going on at lunch this week for your opportunity to save lives by not doing much more than laying down. 16 & 17 year-old first-time donors will to complete a parent permission form and all donors need the teacher permission half-sheet.
If you plan on doing basketball, wrestling, boys swim & dive, girls bowling, or gymnastics, now is the time to start thinking about clearing! You need to get a physical if this is your first sport this year, register on FamilyID for your winter sport, make sure you don’t have any fines or detention hours, and keep listening to the bulletin for the days and times we will start collecting your paperwork. If have questions, see Ms. Olson in the main office.
Come to the Library and get help from Mrs. Eide before or after school, during lunch or any time with your teacher's permission. The issue we were having with 9th graders "moving up" should be resolved. If it isn't Mrs. Eide needs to know about it. She can help with Skyward, Canvas and email too!
