Allied Arts of Renton presents "Fall Family Concert"


As part of a community outreach program, Seattle Philharmonic Orchestra presents a Fall Family concert sponsored by Allied Arts of Renton at a price you can afford. Adults $8, seniors $5 and Students $3. The first half of the program is All American and includes pieces from the world of folk music: “The Cowboy’s Breakdown” from musical theater, “Slaughter on Tenth Avenue” and Jazz from Shuller. The second half of the program is Anton Dvorak’s musical gift, “The New World Symphony”. Featured is Dick Stein, the morning host of KPLU and a jazz combo made up of members from the renowned Roosevelt High School Jazz Band.
