Director Talley is a proud product of Renton School District having attended Honey Dew Elementary, McKnight Middle School, and graduated from Hazen High School. Her more than three decades of service in Seattle Public Schools has given her a strong grasp of what educators and students need to be successful. She is experienced in building strong partnerships with educators, students, parents, and the community to fill gaps in funding and equity to ensure every district student receives a high-quality education and is prepared for a successful future.

Occupation:  Child Psychiatrist at Eating Recovery Center and Pathlight Mood & Anxiety Center

Director Bergquist is a Hazen High School graduate and a parent of Renton School District students. She serves on the board of the Renton Schools Foundation. She is a passionate advocate for children, especially with regards to improving mental wellness and mental healthcare.

Stefanie McIrvin

Education: Doctorate of Education from the University of Washington; Master of Public Administration (MPA) from Seattle University

Occupation: Dean of Business & Information Technology at Renton Technical College

Experienced educational leader specializing in program development and implementation, policy and procedure development, budget management, industry outreach, dual credit articulation and Running Start support with area school districts, internship development, and instructor support and supervision. City of Renton volunteer; former Renton Historical Society board President and served on the Board of New Horizon School.

Education: Master of Public Administration, California State University East Bay; Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Law, Society, and Justice, University of Washington; Administrative Credential, Urban Leadership Program, California State University East Bay

Occupation: Assistant Principal, South Shore K-8, Seattle Public Schools

Mr. Booker is a Renton High School graduate and a parent of Renton School District students. He serves on the board of FareStart, an organization that helps people overcome barriers by teaching work and life skills needed to succeed in employment and in life. He is a passionate advocate for children and families and dedicated to creating class and school-wide systems that value and affirm students from all cultures and backgrounds.


 

Pam Teal

Education: Graduate of Mount Vernon High School

Occupation: Volunteer Chairperson for the Renton Schools Foundation.

Director Teal’s family grew up in Renton.  Her two sons, went through the Renton School District graduating from Hazen High School in 2008 and 2010.  This is where Ms. Teal started her volunteering in our schools.  She served on many community boards and in many PTA leadership roles.  This is Director Teal’s 2nd time serving on the Renton School Board, serving from 2009-2020.  “I am excited to have the chance once again to support our outstanding students, families and staff.”
