Partnership with Sounders FC, RAVE, Providence Health

Renton School District has partnered with Seattle Sounders FC, the RAVE Foundation, and Providence Health to provide social emotional wellness opportunities for students and staff.

The partnership will include personalized virtual therapy opportunities for students through phone, text, and at kiosks at schools; teacher and staff wellbeing support; creating mini soccer play spaces at some schools and community locations; and physical and mental health education. The partnership will create healthier communities through empowering youth, health education, physical activity, and access to physical and mental health resources.

Building a Culture of Play and Emotional Well-Being

Working together, we'll also help create safe spaces for children to play and provide camps that incorporate mental well-being curriculum. In addition, the partnership will help foster a culture within local area schools to help every child prioritize their mental well-being and be equipped to support their peers.
