Finding Bus Route Information

You can find your student's bus route information in Skyward. However, to get real-time information regarding your child's bus route, download the My Ride K-12 mobile app, available for free on Android and iPhone devices.

With My Ride-K12 you can:

View your student’s bus stop and route information.
- If you had a recent change to your route, those changes will appear in My Ride K-12 faster than they will update in Skyward.
Track the status of your bus in real time.
Receive alerts and notifications regarding your student’s transportation.

Please note: Route information will be available after August 18, 2025.

Skyward Route Information

Log into Skyward Family Access. Select the Transportation tile from your student's dashboard.

The route information will open for your student.

My Ride K-12 Mobile App

Get the My Ride K-12 mobile app from your the Play Store or IOS Store.
Create an account using the same email you used for Skyward. If you are not sure which email this is, please contact your school.
Type in the name of your school district: "Renton School District."
You will see the Renton School District option pop up. Click Select.
Any student associated with your email will appear. If you do not have a student linked to that email, you will have an opportunity to add a student by entering their student number (found in Skyward).
Once your student is added, you will be able to see your bus information, access bus status when the bus in en-route, and see notifications.
- You also have the option to easily share these details with appropriate family members.
