Research has shown that students who are excluded from class either due to a suspension, expulsion, or an in-school suspension are less likely to be on grade level and are less likely to graduate.
Our goal is to reduce the proportion of students who are excluded, regardless of income, race/ethnicity, special education status, or home language, to keep students in class learning.
Here you can see the proportion of students at each school who were given at least one exclusion over the past three years and the proportion of various demographic groups who were excluded. The charts are interactive with one another, so clicking on a school will filter to subgroups and vice versa.
