Mastery-Based Credit via Assessment or Course Completion
The Renton School District offers several ways to earn high school credit to prepare students for success in postsecondary education, gainful employment, and citizenship. One option is mastery-based credit through assessment or course completion (Board Policy 2410P). With mastery-based credit, students earn credit by showing the required skills and knowledge in a subject course.
