What age group are these students? Students are Juniors and seniors in high school, typically 16-18.
Do I need liability or legal paperwork? Check with your Human Resources department.
What should the student wear? It's good to provide guidelines on appropriate attire, especially if worksite safety (eg - close toed shoes) is a concern. Business casual is our general recommendation when guidelines are not available.
A Bad Experience Does Not Mean a Bad Opportunity. Not all experiences go as anticipated. Remember that a bad job shadow experience with one student does not mean all shadowing experiences will go that way. Please provide feedback to the school coordinator to address any concerns.
