Renton School District

Plans for 2021-2022 School Year

At the start of the new school year on September 1, 2021, Renton School District plans to offer all K-12 students full day, in-person instruction at all schools for the 2021-2022 school year. Students in all grade levels will attend 5 days per week, and schools will return to normal hours. All transportation will resume. Right at School before- and after-school program will resume at elementary schools.

Meadow Crest Early Learning Center will offer ½ day Inclusive Preschool Monday-Thursday as well as ½ day and full day Head Start and ECEAP.

*Throughout the spring and summer, we will continue to monitor guidance from the Department of Health and OSPI to determine if changes regarding in-person instruction need to occur.

Our current plan also includes offering families and students two distinct fully remote options--one for K-5 students and another for 6-12 students. Read more about options, and making your choice for the 2021-2022 School Year below.
