Pediatric Vaccination Clinics 2021

COVID vaccine for youth 5-11 years old, 2nd-dose clinics at Renton Schools:

For all families who recently attended a first-dose clinic, they will attend the second dose clinic at the same location as their first dose. Find the date of your first clinic to see the date of your 2nd dose clinic location (listed below).

For the second dose clinic, families will receive an email from Discovery Health to register for the second dose, which has already been reserved for them. If families are unable to complete the registration for the second dose, they should still attend the second dose clinic that is coordinated with their first dose.

District provides COVID vaccination clinics for children 5-11 years old

The FDA and CDC approved the COVID-19 vaccination for children ages 5-11 years old. The vaccine can help protect your child and is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID. In partnership with Discovery Health and Public Health Seattle & King Co, the Renton School District is hosting several COVID vaccine clinics for students ages 5-11 years old.

At this time, COVID-19 vaccinations are not a requirement for any students to attend Renton School District schools, however, vaccine supplies are limited so you are required to reserve your vaccine ahead of time. Please use the online sign-up form.

Clinics are for Renton School District students only. Students can be vaccinated at any clinic site, even if they do not attend that particular school. A parent/guardian must accompany students at the vaccination clinics. See How to Handle Shots Like a Champ for ideas to help your student have a better experience.

The vaccines are free and available regardless of health insurance, citizenship, or immigration status.

As these clinics will be focused on providing pediatric doses, anyone seeking a regular COVID vaccine (ages 12+) or a booster vaccination can use the Department of Health vaccine locator to schedule an appointment.

Update 11/9/2021: All of these vaccination clinics are full. We will notify families when more opportunities are available.
