Lindbergh Families,

As the summer draws to a close and the new school year approaches I hope that you have been able to enjoy the lovely weather and spend some quality time with friends and family. My name is HkwauaQueJol Hollins, but everyone calls me Q.  I am the new principal at Lindbergh High School.  I am very excited to start the new school year and honored to have the opportunity to serve this school community.

To share a little about my background: this will be my 15th year in education. I began my career as a teacher assistant in Eugene, Oregon. I taught world history, government and economics, and 20th century history in Virginia at Prince William Public School. I started my administration career in the District of Columbia as a building administrator. For the past five years I have served as an administrator in the Bellingham school district.

I am very fortunate to be part of a dedicated team of administrators: Kirsten Roberts-Hunkovic (who stayed on from last year) and Steve Rencher (who is new from Hazen High School). Working together we will focus on building relationships and continue to refine the "Lindbergh experience", to give our students the choice and opportunity to live up to their full potential.

As the school year gets underway, I invite you to contact me anytime with questions, concerns or suggestions regarding how we can best serve all students and ensure each and every one of them the ability to reach their greatest potential.  Again, I am looking forward to serving the Lindbergh community over the coming weeks and months.
