Homework Help Center
The purpose of Homework Help Center (HHC) is to provide a safe, quiet, collaborative, teacher-supported learning center where students can work freely on school related materials at their discretion, or as assigned by a teacher, and receive one-on-one tutoring.
ABOUT OUR STAFF
Subject-specific teachers who supervise, tutor, and work one-on-one with students from throughout the school. The available content areas that we have support for are: Science, Math, Health and Psychology. We will support any student who may need help with homework regardless of class.
HHC is in the RHS library and has access to the library computers and any textbooks specifically brought down by teachers. We DO have a HHC textbook section in the library. (Teachers: If you have textbooks that you would like to make available to your students, please make sure to have them in this location.)
Students may have bus passes home provided they stay a minimum of 30 minutes in HHC. These passes are limited and are on a first come first served basis.
Homework Help Center is open from 2:15-3:30 pm every Tues/Thursday unless otherwise specified. Students use HHC for studying, completing assignments, and for tutoring/assistance from content teachers who staff it. We also have a volunteer who helps out with all levels of math. Most students come voluntarily and are regular users. We also have an incentive program to encourage students to take advantage of this service.
