2016 Levy Projects
Security camera project - $7 million
Security cameras are currently being installed in every school throughout the district. Cameras are used in common spaces only, this includes outside of the building, interior corridors, all entry ways, cafeterias, and gyms.
Lindbergh High School gym floor upgrade - $1.7 million
A drainage system will be installed beneath the Lindbergh High gym. The concrete sub-floor will be replaced and a new wood floor will be installed.
Roofing projects - $2 million
The shingle roof at Talbot Hill Elementary will be replaced with a more durable metal roof. The single-ply membrane roof over the play area will also be replaced.
Mechanical projects - $1.2 million
Sierra Heights and Bryn Mawr Elementary will have updates to mechanical systems, including newer, more energy efficient boilers and heat pumps.
Lindbergh High School Parking lot - $1.1 million
The parking lot near the pool at Lindbergh High was recently replaced, with a new drainage system and asphalt.
Readerboard upgrades - $700,000
Schools throughout the district are receiving electronic readerboard signs.
Playground equipment upgrades - $400,000
Newer, safer playground equipment for elementary schools.
