    Are you interested in learning about Japan?

    Do you want to experience the Japanese culture? Would you like to earn $376 dollars? You can do all three if you host a Japanese student between March 26 and April 3, 2019. Please come by Mrs. Perkins room in D109 for more information.

    Are you interested in participating in the Running Start program next year?

    Your school counselors have set aside time to tell you how the program works. Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 13th during lunch or Tuesday, Feb. 26 during lunch in the Lecture Hall to learn all about the Running Start program! We’re also offering Family Running Start Info Sessions on the same days at 6pm in the Hazen Auditorium.

    Do you have questions about your credits as you prepare for Registration?

    Counselors will be available all next week during lunch in the Commons to answer your questions!

    Need a new sweatshirt?

    We have sweatshirts for sale with a new throwback logo. This is a school wide sale. Each sweatshirt is $26 with an additional $5 for a customization. If you want one, the forms are outside the ASB office. Fill one out and pay there. Orders will be taken until Friday. Go check out the new design!

    Hey Highlanders, looking for some quick volunteer hours?

    Donate to the Key Club Hygiene Drive! Accepting any hygiene products like toothpaste, feminine hygiene products, soap, and more! Just drop them off in the career center and see Mr. Nguyen to see how many hours you can get!

    Yesterday the Gymnastics team had a successful night at Mt. Rainier versus 5 other schools! Elexa Nguyen placed 2nd on Vault, Lupita Sandoval 10th on Bars, Evelyn Raih 6th on Beam, Kaycee Tong 7th on Beam, Sheila Tang 7th on Vault, 8th on Bars, 10th on Beam, and Sydney Schott placed 1st on Vault, 4th on Bars, 9th on Beam, 7th on Floor and 2nd as All Around. Great work ladies!

    Hazen Wrestling is hosting the 8th annual Taking Down Pancreatic Cancer Duals this Saturday at Highline High School in Burien. Doors will open to the public at 8am, entry is by donation. All proceeds are donated to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network!

    Attention all Spring Athletes! If you plan on trying out for baseball, softball, girls tennis, track and field, or boys soccer: FamilyID is now open for registration. Starting February 4th, you will be able to start the clearing process during lunches and after school until 3pm.

    Ultimate Frisbee Club Are you bored and looking to have a ton of fun? There will be another tournament so grab 4 pals and make a team! Sign up in the ASB window and then show up after school on the turf on Thursday the 24th! Hope to see you out there!
    Class of 2022! We are selling shirts and long sleeve shirts with a class specific logo. You can pick up the order form and pay in front of the ASB office. Short sleeves are $13 and long sleeves are $18. The sale is open until February 1st.
