    Parent-teacher conferences are happening this week in Renton high school's main gym. This event will take place on October 18th, from 5:30p - 8:00p! Here are a few tips on how to use your time effectively! Also, please take a little time to read principal San Martin's letter to families. We hope to see you all there!

    School Messages

    Want to receive text messages from our school right to your phone? From your phone or device, text “Y” to the number 68453. You’ll get a confirmation text asking if you sent the message. Respond with "Y "for Yes, and you’re signed up for text messages. (Only those who sign-up using those steps can receive text messages. Charges may apply depending on your text message plan.)

    Operation Warm

    Renton Rotary Club's annual coat give-away is happening Saturday, October 27th in the Renton High School Cafeteria from 9:00a - 1:30p. This event is free for all Renton School District students! Please click here for more info and we hope to see you there!

    1. Attention all students, parent-teacher conferences are this Thursday, October 18th from 5:30p – 8:00p. This is a great opportunity for you, your parents, and your teachers to discuss opportunities in class. Please let your parents know that interpreters will also be available. More information can be found on Renton High’s webpage. (DV, 10/18)


    1. Winter sports Family ID registration is now open. Go in early to register. Then you will need to finish your clearance by Paying your fees and getting your clearance card. Bowling will be able to clear 10/25 and 10/26 ONLY! All other Winter Sports can clear starting on 10/29/18 before school, at lunch and after school. (CD, 11/9)


    1. ASVAB Career Exploration Program will be at RHS on October 23. Sign-up with Ms. Fulmer by October 16. ASVAB CEP supports the completion of your High School & Beyond Plan! (NF, 10/16)


    1. It is an in-depth exam/process into learning about yourself, your skills and how they match careers! You’ll also receive an online access code good for up to two years. (NF, 10/16)


    1. Ladies, Scripps College, will be presenting on October 16, at 12:10 pm in the library. Scripps College is a top-ranked, private, residential women’s liberal arts college located in Claremont, California and is a QuestBridge National College Match school.     1. Do you speak, read, and write another language? If so, you can earn up to 4 credits by simply taking one free test. You can register for the test in the counseling office. The LAST day to register is this Wednesday. (CW, 10/17)


    1. Pacific Lutheran University will be tabling in the Commons during lunch. Stop by to learn about the PLU253 scholarship for College Bound students. Remember Seniors, it is always free to apply to PLU and their multiple admissions deadlines means that you’ll receive an answer prior to the next admission deadline. (NF, 10/17)


    1. The RHS drama club proudly presents this year’s talent show, Wednesday, the 17th at 6:00p. make sure not to miss out on seeing all the hidden talent here at RHS! Tickets are $5 w/ASB and $7 without ASB. (SK, 10/17)


    1. Girls interested in bowling on the bowling team we will have a meeting on Wednesday 10/17 at 2:15 in the ISS room located next to the athletic office. Please plan on being there! (CD, 10/18)


    1. Winter sports are gearing up. Are you interested in gymnastics? Find out more this Thursday at 2:15 in room 127. (ER, 10/18)


    1. Are you interested in pursuing a degree in art and design? Offering degrees that include film, transportation design, graphic design and illustration, check-out ArtCenter College of Design on October 22, in the Commons during lunch. (NF, 10/22)
