    National College Fair | November 2, 2018

    Start your college search by attending the largest national college fair at the Washington State Convention Center. You will get to connect and learn about different local, out-of-state and international universities and colleges. There are also helpful informational workshops that you can attend.     Pierce County Career Day  | November 14, 2018

    Are you interested in construction, manufacturing, transportation and/or aerospace careers? Pierce County Career Day is seeking students to learn about these industries through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities and, outdoor equipment to operate. It is a great event to make connections with the students and professionals in the field. More information on how to sign up for this field trip will be available at a later time.

    Blacks at Microsoft Minority Student Day | February or March TBD

    Do you have a passion and plan to pursue a career in technology? This field trip has great information on what it takes to be successful in technology. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn more about Microsoft, do hands-on projects, and network with professionals in the field. More information on how to sign up for this field trip will be available at a later time.

    College Planning Day | March TBD

    This is a great opportunity to explore a college campus and to learn more about the different universities and colleges in Washington State! There are different presentations from colleges such as WSU, Eastern, Western and UW. For more information, visit the Career Center. More information on how to sign up for this field trip will be available lat a later time.

    Women Fly| March TBD

    This event at the Museum of Flight is a great opportunity for young women who are interested in pursuing a career in aerospace or aviation. You will get to attend workshops that are led by women who currently working in the field to gain more insight and knowledge on opportunities in the aerospace field. More information on how to sign up for this field trip will be available at a later time.

    Money Maze Presentation | October 24, 2018
    Renton IKEA Performing Arts Center
    6:00pm-8:00pm, with a resource fair at 5:00pm

    Parents and students are invited to this very informative workshop to learn about financial aid and how to fund for college. There will be a raffle at the end of the presentation and Spanish and Somali interpreters available.

    Renton School District Post-Secondary Fair | November 1, 2018
    Renton Pavilion 
    5:00pm-7:00pm

    Join us at our annual district Post-Secondary Fair to learn about the different pathways that students can go on after high school. There will be representatives from 4-year and 2-year colleges and universities along with pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs, military and other training programs that parents and students can connect with. 

    Lindbergh High School's Trades Fair | March 27, 2019

    This is a great opportunity for students to explore different post-secondary opportunities aside from the traditional 4-year college route. Different companies and apprenticeship programs such as Boeing, Seattle City Light, Puget Sound Energy and the Washington State Patrol will be present.
