Enhancing Instructional Practice and Student Learning Through Technology

This incorporation of powerful digital tools/resources amplifies what is happening in a school/classroom. Success practices have helped to identify and define the critical components ("readiness") that impact the effectiveness of blended learning.

In order for a school/classroom to successfully implement blended learning, the following components prove to be critical:

    1. expertise in pedagogy
    2. strong classroom management
    3. use of data to inform instruction

Through a collaborative effort, schools/classrooms can move toward readiness and/or demonstrate readiness (as well as willingness) to implement blended learning by providing examples of each of the bulleted elements ("looks like" column). This self-assessment can also identify areas for growth and support.
