Incoming 6th grade students have the opportunity to self-select the Math Honor's Course. Please read RSD Honor's Options for 6th Grade Students in 2019-2020 for further information.
Washington State law requires students 11 years and older to have a Tdap (Tetanus, Diptheria, and Pertussis) vaccination before entering 6th grade. Please take your child to your doctor or clinic for a Tdap right after his/her 11th birthday. After the vaccination is received, please provide the office with the date your child received the Tdap shot.
If you need help finding medical coverage so your child can get immunizations, call 206-284-0331 or 1-800-756-5437. Interpreters are available.

Our school and the district use a phone messaging system to call, email and/or text parents of school closures, emergencies or other changes to the school day. The system also provides parents with information on student absences. To ensure you receive these important notices, please make sure your school has your most recent primary phone number and email address. If you are unable to answer the call, please listen to the complete message to decide if you need to call the school. Some messages are for information only and do not require a return phone call. Thank you for your help.
Parents, for security purposes, please drop your student off at the front door. If you would like to be with them at morning line up, we ask that you walk with your child around the building to the playground. If for any reason you need to be in the building before school, please check in with the office.
