    JRB Memorial Scholarship
    This $1,000 scholarship is open to any Hazen student who is a scholar athlete pursuing a post-secondary education. The purpose of this scholarship is to carry on Jordan Bumgarner's legacy of leadership, selflessness and citizenship. 
     
    Renton PTA Council Scholarship
    Each year Renton PTA Council awards selected high school seniors with $750 scholarships for tuition (paid directly to their institution). The scholarships are granted on various criteria based on the information you provide on this application, your essay, transcript and other pertinent documentation.
     
    Joint PTSA & PTA Scholarship
    Each year Hazen PTSA and other local PTA units award Renton School District Seniors scholarships for tuition (paid to institutions directly). The scholarships are granted on various criteria based upon information you provide through this application, your essay, transcript and other pertinent documentation. This application and your documentation will be forwarded for consideration to any of the following schools you have attended and/or currently attending.

    University of Washington Theta Xi Scholarship
    This scholarship is available to all male students who are incoming Freshman at the University of Washington, not just those who are interested in joining a fraternity. This year, UW Theta Xi is offering three scholarships of $500 each to male students who demonstrate academic achievement and who are also involved in high school and/or community activities. The application is due on June 3rd and is available HERE or online at UW Theta Xi Scholarship.

    NEW SCHOLARSHIPS IN 2017

    • Scholarship for students pursuing a career in the aerospace industry through the O.J. Harper Engineering Scholarship
    • Scholarship aimed directly at new teachers within the Renton School District, who wish to continue their education through the Renton Schools Educators Scholarship.
    • Allied Arts of Renton will award a scholarship to a student within the Renton School District (ages 12-19) who is passionate about pursuing training in a visual or performing art. Money can be used for classes, arts camps, or college. This is a separate application form.
    Renton Rotary Youth of the Month application is available in the Career Center
    The program was established by the Rotary Club of Renton to honor outstanding students! To be considered for the month of November, your application must to be submitted to Mr. Nguyen by September 23rd. Also, congratulations to Diego Betancourt for being named the Renton Rotary Youth of the Month for September! 
     
    Cougar Commitment
    This need-based program pays full tuition and required fees, and is renewable for up to four years.
