    Office is closed until August 11th.

    Summer Office Hours: Mon - Fri 8 am -12 pm and 1:00 - 4:00 pm

    Meet and Greet August 25th 5:00-6:30 pm. Class lists will be posted at this time. Come meet your child's teacher and connect with other Benson Hill families.

    First day of school 1st - 5th Grades is August 30th at 8:35 am

    Kindergarten first day of school is September 5th. Information regarding kindergarten conferences will be mailed to parents.

    Curriculum Nights September 21 for Grades 1-2 and September 28th for Grades 3-5.

    ELL Families 6:00 pm. Interpreters and resources will be available.

    All families 6:30 pm

    When is my child too sick to send to school?

    It’s the Law! - Be at school on time every day

    Washington State RCW 28A.225.020/House Bill 2449

    The law requires a parent conference to create an attendance plan when your child has:

    • 2 unexcused absences in a month
    • 5+ excused absences in a month or 10+ excused absences in a year (Unless there is a pre-arranged absence in writing)

Meal Info

  • MEAL INFORMATION

    Current information about meal prices and menus is available on the RSD Website. You may also pay for lunches online.

    Free and Reduced Meal Applications are also available on the RSD website.  

    A new application must be completed each school year for students to continue to receive free/reduced meals.

    Meal applications may be turned in at the school office for processing.

    Only one application per family is needed. Please list all students attending Renton Schools. 

    Students may bring lunch from home. Parents are encouraged to limit the sugar content in student lunches. Please do not send soda pop or breakable containers to school.
