The Hazen Lit Mag's Coffeehouse was rescheduled and is tonight from 6-8pm in the Auditorium! Please bring your poems, short stories, artwork, and a friend! There will be coffee, doughnuts, and hot chocolate! Old issues of LitMag will be available for purchase. Admission is $5 at the door, however, submitters get in free! We hope to see you there!

For Hazen’s 50th Anniversary, we are offering a chance for community members to create an everlasting symbol of their legacy by purchasing an engraved paver! The paver will become part of the base or path to a 50th anniversary statue, to be completed by June of 2019. Turkey Basket food drive! This helps provide for families in need around the city of Renton have a hot Thanksgiving meal this holiday season. Each basket comes with 2 boxes of stuffing, 2 cans of cranberries, 2 boxes of potatoes mix, 2 packets of gravy, 3 cans of fruit, 3 cans of veggies, 2 boxes of desert mix, 1 can opener, and 1 reusable shopping bag. Please donate whatever you can, leaving your donations with your fifth period teacher. Thank you for helping your Renton community this holiday season!
If you plan on doing basketball, wrestling, boys swim & dive, girls bowling, or gymnastics, now is the time to start thinking about clearing! You need to get a physical if this is your first sport this year, register on FamilyID for your winter sport, make sure you don’t have any fines or detention hours, and keep listening to the bulletin for the days and times we will start collecting your paperwork. If have questions, see Ms. Olson in the main office.
Come to the Library and get help from Mrs. Eide before or after school, during lunch or any time with your teacher's permission. The issue we were having with 9th graders "moving up" should be resolved. If it isn't Mrs. Eide needs to know about it. She can help with Skyward, Canvas and email too!
