Attention all 10th graders and any other students taking the math SBA next month: on Tuesdays through Thursdays over the next month, the math department will be holding SBA review sessions in the library. There will be a specific focus topic each week, but also time to get help with individual questions and do practice problems. We will also help students access the review materials on the Hazen SBA Review Canvas page. This week’s review topic will be Linear Functions. Don’t miss out on this important opportunity!
Pay is $12 per hour, training provided. You can apply online at the Renton School District Employment page.
The athletic department would like to congratulate Rory Magana for being chosen as the Coach of the Year by the Pacific NW wrestling officials! This is a huge honor, and the first time for Hazen. The Renton Fire department will bring equipment and staff to take students through a physical challenge simulating some of the training methods used in the Fire Department. Last year we had 15 students bravely and successfully complete the course out on the track while we had a snow flurried day. Permission slips will be sent to PE class students.

Come to the Library and get help from Mrs. Eide before or after school, during lunch or any time with your teacher's permission. The issue we were having with 9th graders "moving up" should be resolved. If it isn't Mrs. Eide needs to know about it. She can help with Skyward, Canvas and email too!
