  • Math SBA Review

    Attention all 10th graders and any other students taking the math SBA next month: on Tuesdays through Thursdays over the next month, the math department will be holding SBA review sessions in the library. There will be a specific focus topic each week, but also time to get help with individual questions and do practice problems. We will also help students access the review materials on the Hazen SBA Review Canvas page. This week’s review topic will be Linear Functions. Don’t miss out on this important opportunity!

  • Congratulations to Coach Magana

    The athletic department would like to congratulate Rory Magana for being chosen as the Coach of the Year by the Pacific NW wrestling officials! This is a huge honor, and the first time for Hazen. He is being recognized for his hard work on and off the matt to make this athletes the best they can be!

  • Calling all photographers!

    The 2019 Congressional Art Competition has a photography component. The deadline for high school students in the 8th Congressional District to submit their art is Wednesday, April 22nd. If you have any amazing photos, come see Mrs. Tegen in Room 239 ASAP so we can get your paperwork completed and your master piece entered by the deadline.

  • Are you going to be a NEW Running Start student next year?

    Once you have completed the College Running Start Application and have confirmation from the college of placement, then you are ready for the next steps: Turn in your signed Hazen Running Start Agreement Form to Ms. Courtney in the Counseling/Attendance Office Lobby, then she will schedule a half hour meeting with your school counselor to discuss classes and sign your Running Start Verification Form.

  • FBLA Wins Big in Bellevue

    Last week Hazen FBLA sent 41 students to the annual State Business Leadership Conference in Bellevue and our students did not disappoint. Click on the headline to see who competed and how they did.

  • On April 23 Hazen will be participating in the Renton Fire Fighter Challenge!

    The Renton Fire department will bring equipment and staff to take students through a physical challenge simulating some of the training methods used in the Fire Department. Last year we had 15 students bravely and successfully complete the course out on the track while we had a snow flurried day. Permission slips will be sent to PE class students.

  • Need to retake the SAT or ACT?

    Juniors, if you are on free or reduced lunch, come see Mr. Nguyen for a fee waiver to sign up to retake your SAT for FREE! You are also eligible to receive a waiver for the ACT!

  • We need you to run for Class Office

    Each class needs to elect a new President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasurer and the new position of Spirit Representative. Interest and Information meetings will take place in room 103 with Rusty on the following dates and times: Wednesday, April 3 during lunch and at 2:15 PM, Thursday, April 4 during lunch and at 2:15 PM, Friday, April 5 during lunch. Lung meetings wills start promptly at 11:10 am. See you there!

  • Are you still having trouble logging into the computers or Skyward?

    Come to the Library and get help from Mrs. Eide before or after school, during lunch or any time with your teacher's permission. The issue we were having with 9th graders "moving up" should be resolved. If it isn't Mrs. Eide needs to know about it. She can help with Skyward, Canvas and email too!
