Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge

  • SCHOLASTIC SUMMER READING CHALLENGE: from Read for the Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge! May 8th— September 8th

Highlands Elementary is once again participating in the Scholastic’s Summer Reading Challenge. For the past five years, Highlands has read the most minutes of any school in Washington State! During the summer, your student may record their reading minutes at: www.scholastic.com/summer using the user name and password that will be sent home early in May. Please see your student’s teacher if you need this information. If you are unable to log-in your reading minutes over the summer, please record your minutes on a sheet of paper and turn in to your new teacher on the first day of school in September. The summer reading challenge ends on Friday, September 8th. We hope your family makes reading a big part of your summer fun this year!
