March 8, 2017—Lindbergh High School's Career and Technical Education program recently hosted its 10th annual Trades Fair to provide students from all over the district with opportunities to make plans for life beyond high school.
The Trades Fair hosts businesses, technical colleges and others from around the region in fields like, aerospace engineering, construction, law enforcement, plumbing and welding, cosmetology, military, and others. Students visited booths to speak with representatives about job and educational opportunities, and the various paths they might take after graduation.
The day also included mock interviews where students dressed the part and sat down with local business leaders, HR professionals and others to answer interview questions they will face as they apply for jobs in the near future. More than 50 different professionals from various career backgrounds provided one-on-one interviews.
