Principal's Announcements

  • Hello Tiffany Park Families!

Thank you to all the parents and family members who are following our parking lot procedures when dropping off and picking up students! We want our children to be safe at all times.

A reminder of events at school this week:

The Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Assembly is this Thursday, January 12, at 2:00 PM in the Commons. We invite all family and friends to join students as we celebrate the contributions of this great American. Students in all grades and the Tiger Choir under the direction of Mr. Brengle have been practicing hard for this celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

A reminder that there will be no school on Monday, January 16th, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s Birthday, which is a National Holiday.

The monthly PTA meeting is scheduled for Thursday, January 12, at 6:30 PM in the library. Several teachers will be presenting ideas and strategies to help parents support their children’s homework efforts. The general meeting will follow the presentation. Please come to hear from the teachers and to support your PTA.

Congratulations and Thank You to our PTA members and volunteers for sponsoring the very popular and successful Holiday Gift Shoppe. Many PTA parents volunteered their time during school to assist children in selecting special gifts for friends and relatives – everyone had a terrific time shopping! The proceeds support our school activities. Thank you PTA!

Cheers to 5th grade teacher John Paul for successfully writing a grant to the Renton Community Foundation’s Circle of Giving. He was awarded $750.00 to purchase Lego building materials to provide extensions to our school’s Robotics activities! Mr. Paul was one of 14 winners to receive a grant out of 120 applicants! The grants are awarded to support student learning, growth, and achievement.  Mr. Paul will be recognized at the Circle of Giving Ceremony on February 16, 2017. Thank you and Congratulations Mr. Paul!

Have a good week and remember that we encourage all students to read a minimum of 20 minutes a day and practice math facts daily.
