Upcoming Changes for Supplemental Education Services (SES) and Public School Choice (PSC)

The Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) developed a one-year transition plan for 2016-17 from NCLBs AYP to Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). Learn more about this plan at: http://www.k12.wa.us/ESEA/ESSA/pubdocs/OSPI-AYP-SES-PSCTransitionPlan.pdf

Renton School District will not be providing Supplemental Education Services (SES) or Public School Choice (PSC) transportation in the 2016-2017 school year. If your child is currently transferred to a school under PSC and you choose to remain in that school you will be responsible for transporting your child to and from school.  Letters were mailed out to families on May 13, 2016.
