April 13, 2011 - The state Senate released its two-year budget late yesterday to erase a projected $5.1 billion state deficit proposing deeper cuts to K-12 education than the House budget which was unveiled last week. The Senate budget cuts Renton’s budget by $3.2 million, the House budget means a $1 million cut to Renton.
