Renton Teacher Academy Foundation

The Renton Teacher Academy Foundation was formed as a nonprofit group designed to support the Renton Teacher Academy.  The Board is comprised of teachers and administrators from Central Washington University and the Renton School District, City of Renton staff, and both current and former students of the Renton Teacher Academy program.

The next generation of education professionals reflects our community’s rich diversity.


Mission

 

Provide financial support to encourage high school students of diverse backgrounds to pursue higher education degrees in teaching by:

 

·        Funding opportunities for students to earn high school and college credits concurrently,

    and

·        Bridging access to college with scholarships
