Beginning with the 2010 school year, students in the Renton School District will participate in the new Washington Comprehensive Assessment Program. Students in Grades 3 - 8 will participate in the Measurements of Student Progress (MSP). Students in Grades 10 - 12 will take the High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE).
March 16 - High School Reading
March 17 & 18 - High School Writing (must attend both days)
April 13 - High School Mathematics
April 15 - High School Science (grade 10 only)
May 5 - May 21
The following schools will be participating in the MSP (Measurements of Student Progress) as a early testing school: Lakeridge Elementary, Talbot Hill Elementary, Tiffany Park Elementary, McKnight Middle School and Nelsen Middle School
May 12 - May 28
Each school in grades 3 - 8 set their own testing schedule during the testing window. Please check with your individual school for exact testing dates, which at this time have not been set.
February 8 - March 5
Students receiving English Language Services will be participating in the Washington Language Proficiency Test.
